John Smith called the meeting to order with a Prayer.

Sandi Perry e-mailed her intent to come back letter to the board.
Doug Kirby submitted his request to return letter to the board today 4-24-05
When Sandi's letter is to Lynn Clayton, then Vicky will send to all board
members for input on both returning to the TNNAC board
At the close of Caucus elections the chair of each caucus is to e-mail
results to:
John Smith
Lynn Clayton
Vicky Garland
tom kunesh
With a CC to Donna Bivens, ACTIA Secretary for verifying results by midnight
central time
They will be posted on the TNNAC website by 12:30
The ballots are to be put in envelopes and sealed with tape and signed by
caucus staff then mailed to Lynn Clayton the following Monday
Lynn Clayton spoke with Niles Aseret he was out of town and thought he would
resign as Vice-Chair of TNNAC but stay on as Chair of Nashville.
As per TNNAC by-laws John Smith as Chair would contact him and see if this
is what he wants to do.
We took a 30 minute break for lunch.
Reconvened and talked about the SOP some changes were made. Tom and Vicky
are still working on the wording.
We removed, had to be present to be elected into office
Also there will be a form for delegates to sign stating they will do the
duties of the position. (Did not get done)
The complaint form was read and accepted
We voted and agreed that persons running for TNNAC just needed 21 signatures
from their caucus area only. This is permitted in 2005 and in effect 2007.
Discussed dividing caucus area for convenience Metro and Grand's are defined
by state law, the subject will be address and in place by 2007.

All seven (7) caucus area will vote at the convention.
Vicky said she would compose a Referendum to vote on "Should Metro areas
only vote on Metro elections or can all caucuses vote."
Tom will compose a question for the board to voice opinions on how each
caucus should have a meet and greet for the Candidates, after they declare
Each caucus shall elect 1 TNNAC board member and 1 alternate and 3 ACTIA
nominees
It was clarified that Lauderdale county could vote at Memphis but could only
run for office in Jackson.
Tom and Vicky revised the web page info. Tom will make adjustments. Vicky
will send out the prepared Election press releases.
Indian preference was discussed and tabled until the next meeting.
Mr. Van Lynch sent a letter asking for a clearing statement of the 2003
elections in West Tennessee. Lynn Clayton searched TNNAC documents and
found no Formal complaint and each person involved had given a formal
statement of their version of what happened to be put in the archives.
Tom will compose the letter. While doing this we cleared all caucus areas
of any wrong doing.
