     I was born and raised in Tennesssee. I went to school, work, and raised my 
children here, same as the majority of my family except a few ancestors caught 
up in the removal. I have been active in my community most of my adult life, 
both in Indian affairs and local community projects. I was involved in the fight 
against the Hazardous Waste Incinerator planned for Marion County in 1990. And 
now against the sale and development of Little Cedar Mountian. I have served in 
various committies with my local utility district. Because of my involvement 
in several different areas, I come in contact with all kinds of people. I have 
observed many situations and had many conversations about the affairs and needs 
of Tennesse's Indian Peoples. I would like the opportunity to voice the 
concerns and needs of these people.
