My membership in NAIA and on the BOD has given me insight to issues and problme I didn't recognize. I am a strong advocate for a workable TCIA because it can help to bring a form of unity in TN which Indian people MUST have. I believe my experience in the workings of state government and with many environmental groups can be an asset to the Advisory Council and an aide to the TCIA. Although I lack an identifiable blood line with Indian people, my heart and spirit is right there with them.
