I strongly feel my contributions to this commission would benefit Native 
American Indians. I was born and raised in Tennessee and therefore I know first 
hand the hardships faced to make a better life for one's self and family. 
People need to be more aware of Native Americans and what they face each day in 
society. I feel this commision can help to better the lives of those who live 
in Tennessee. I was given many opportunities and I would like to see others 
experience the same.
I am proud of my heritage , proud to be Cherokee and I would like the 
opportunity to help improve the lives of Native American Indians.
