Experience. I served on the Commission from its beginning years until my term 
was up 10/90. I held the office of the Secretary during those years and drafted 
the Recognition Criteria with the help of the Indian Communities and the TN 
Legal Dept. I represented TN on the Nat'l Gov's Indian Council as Secretary for 
6 yrs. TN had never been represented on the GIIC until I paid my own way to 
Denver to be a delegate.

I have been and am involved in the Indian Affairs of TN and in other states. 
The many organizations, other than Indian, know of my dedication to the 
betterment of my Indian heritage.  I know the importance of continuity in 
orgainzations in critical times.
