  • saturday, 25 june - Caucuses
    All areas select 15 delegates to the
    Convention, 1 TNNAC Board member,
    and vote on any referenda.
    Metro areas select up to 4 nominees to the
    TN Commission of Indian Affairs
    and 3 Advisory Council nominees.

    Voters must sign in at the caucus and show proof of residency and age.

    Acceptable proof: Driver's license, Voter registration card,
            Electric or water or other utility bill with voter's name and address.

    Combined caucuses' delegates (±105) select nominees' order of nomination to the state for potential appointment to the Commission of Indian Affairs, and vote on any referenda.

    - state Commission of Indian Affairs from the four (4) Metro Areas:   Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga & Knoxville (4 positions in each metro area); and

    - Advisory Council on TN Indian Affairs from the four (4) Metro Areas:   Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga & Knoxville (3 positions in each metro area); and

    - the TN Native American Convention (TNNAC) Board (1 position in each caucus area); and

    - the state Archaeological Advisory Council (East ('05) & West ('07) TN Native American representatives); and
    the Historical, Human Rights and Arts Commissions.
